Why should I choose a Castelli, Letts or Filofax diary, journal, notebook or organiser?
We have specially selected these manufacturers for the exceptionally high quality of their products and their trusted brands.
Can I have my diaries personalised?
Yes we specialise in personalising diaries and journals, from simple cover blocking, embossing and debossing, to a completely bespoke product. Castelli can supply single items with text personalisation, whilst minimum order levels apply to company logo personalisation for all suppliers please contact us if you require more details.
I want a completely bespoke diary what are the minimums?
The minimum order levels vary between suppliers, please contact us with your specification and we can advise accordingly.
Are these products environmentally sound?
For every tree cut down to produce our products, another will be planted to replace it. Paper is made from sustainable forests without the use of chlorine or acids. All cartons and boxes are made from recycled products, and this year a number of 100% recyclable products are available. All products from Casteli and Letts are FSC certified
Pricing
Do you have a minimum order value?
We do not have a minimum order value, although we do have a minimum delivery charge of 6.00. We can supply single units of Castelli and Filofax products but Letts diaries are subject to a minimum order level of 50 units.
Are the products subject to VAT?
Yes, all products are subject to VAT.
How do I calculate the cost of my order?
You can quickly and easily calculate the cost of your order of up to 1000 products through our online quote generator. Simply enter the number of products you need, select any personalisation, packaging or additional page printing options and add to your basket. Any appropriate discount will be shown in your shopping basket along with delivery costs and VAT. For orders in excess of 1000 please contact us and we will be happy to provide you with a quotation.
Is my order exempt from VAT?
If you are placing an order from outside the EU for delivery outside the EU, your order is exempt from VAT. Please contact us in this instance.
I want more than 1000 what should I do?
If you need a higher quantity than the quote generator is able to calculate, please contact us and we will be delighted to quote.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes - we offer discount incentives in exchange for early orders or at our discretion. Our unit prices reduce as the volume required increases. We strive to offer competitive pricing and will endeavour to equal a competitive quotation for a comparable product.
Placing Your Order
How do I place my order?
You can place your order online. Simply choose your product, add it to your basket and follow the online instructions. If you experience any problems with our online shopping facility please do not hesitate to contact us.
How do I know my order has been successfully received?
All orders will be acknowledged by email. Your paid invoice will also be sent to you via email
Where do I send my artwork/logo?
When you place your order online you will receive confirmation of your order and will be sent a request for any artwork together with information about how your artwork should be prepared.
Can I cancel my personalised order?
You can cancel your order before any artwork is approved. Once you have approved your artwork we will authorise production and at this stage you cannot cancel your order.
Personalisation
Will you send me a proof for approval before my order is personalised?
For company logos and insert pages, once we have received your artwork a proof will be prepared and sent for your approval. Once this is approved and payment has been received we will authorise production.
For text only personalisation by Castelli a proof will NOT be supplied. All text personalisation is carried out in Helvetica font 12 point size on pocket diaries and 18 point on desk diaries.
Can I have additional pages printed / inserted specially?
Yes, we can insert custom printed pages into your diary. You can calculate the cost of inserting up to 16 pages online. For a completely bespoke diary please contact us and we will be happy to provide a quote.
How much does personalising the front cover cost?
The price shown on the site includes the cost of printing in one colour and in one position. The only additional charge would be a one-off blocking charge, which is to produce the plate used in printing your order; this plate can be used in future years. For additional colours and other print options please contact us.
How many personalisation letters/characters can be put onto the front of a product?
For plain text names or initials the maximum length on one line would be 24 characters, including spaces. You can order one line of text online but if you require additional lines of text these can be added for an extra charge please contact us for details
How big can my logo be?
This will very much depend on the product chosen for personalisation, as the printable area varies. If you require more information on printable areas for specific products please contact us and we will be happy to supply you with a guide for a specific product.
Can I have any font style?
For text personalisation, i.e. name or initials, the only font available is Helvetica and this will be 12pt on pocket diaries and 18pt on desk diaries. If you require personalisation in an alternate font this would be treated as a logo and would need to be supplied to us as artwork and charged accordingly.
Payment
How do I pay for my order?
Payment can be made online by credit or debit card, by cheque (payable to Company Diaries) or by BACS
When will payment become due?
For standard items without personalisation payment is due when the order is placed.
For items requiring personalisation or additional printed pages, payment becomes due one your proof is approved. Once payment is received in full we will authorise production of your order.
Will I receive an invoice?
All orders will receive an invoice following placement of an order.
Lead Times
When will I receive my order?
For standard items without personalisation, goods will be despatched within 3 working days from receipt of payment. Production time for personalised products from stock prior to 1st October is normally 14 days and 28 days if the order requires additional pages. Production time on bespoke custom products varies depending on the complexity of the order and the time of year, we can give you an estimation of the production time at the time of your enquiry.
How long will my personalised order take?
If you require your order to be personalised, we will endeavour to send you a proof for your approval within two working days of receipt of suitable artwork. Once approved, a UK order will be delivered within fourteen working days, or 28 days if additional pages are required.
Do you accept Foreign / Overseas orders?
If you would like to place an order for delivery outside the UK, your order will be shipped by DHL by prior arrangement please contact us for pricing. Please allow additional time on top of the standard production time for delivery overseas.
Artwork
In which format would you like artwork supplied for my order?
When supplying artwork for company logos film, disc or sharp black/white 1:1 is required. Full artwork specifications can be viewed here.
Where do I send my artwork?
Send your company logos and any artwork to artwork@companydiaries.co.uk
How does my proof arrive?
Your proof will be emailed to you as a pdf attachment.
When will my order be processed following approval?
Your order will be authorised for production once we have your approved proof and payment has been made in full.

How much do you charge for shipping?
This depends on the size of the order. Our quote generator will automatically calculate your delivery charge for UK deliveries. Full details of our shipping charges can be viewed on our shipping page.
